Feedback from the participants of International Summer School 2005
Summer School was very well organised and was suitable for all the levels. I loved the fun environment. It was good opportunity to meet up people with same interest in dance and music. Uma Kurup (Bharatanatyam - Intermediate level - London)
Learnt beautiful items like Sargami in Kathak style. It was a wonderful experience once again. Venue was great. Can't wait for the next summer school. Vina Ladwa (Kathak teacher - Advance level - Nottingham)
I am very pleased with the level of the summer school. Both the teachers and the students were of high standard. I had brilliant time during the summer school week. All the teachers, students and organisers were very friendly and helpful. I look forward to the next year's summer school. Yan Li (Bharatanatyam - Intermediate level - Norwich)
We learnt a lot about technique and the performances were enjoyable and inspiring. Soumya Pandalai (Bharatanatyam - Intermediate level - Wales)
Excellent teachers, lots of friendly students, enjoyed making friends. Loved the performance by tutors and other evening performance. Ushma Mathews (Odissi - Beginner level - Manchester)
I learnt things which I didn't expect. The amount of support received from the organisers and the teachers was amazing. They taught new ways of having fun while doing something you enjoyed. Seema Sodha (Bharatanatyam - Intermediate level - London)
I loved the holistic approach of the course. Enjoyed the interaction with other dancers and dance forms and the quality performance by the gurus. Dr. Seshadri Iyengar (Bharatanatyam - Advance level - London)
Excellent opportunity to get intensive dance training and learn new pieces and meet new people. Really appreciated the emphasis on healthy dance practice. There could have been more sessions in the evening. And also it would have been better if the accommodation was closer to the studios. Shamita Ray (Bharatanatyam - Intermediate level - London)
