Unlocking Creativity - 7th -10th August 2008
23 June 2008

A ground breaking four day residential Choreography Course aimed at dance practitioners, students, teachers and workshop leaders from diverse traditions who want to push the boundaries of their dance forms, extend their skills and unlock their creative potential.

Led by internationally acclaimed artists, Harikrishnan, Nahid Siddiqui, Stella Subbiah and Eva Recacha, the course will answer the needs of dancers who have felt the urge to express themselves beyond the traditional repertoire, giving them the opportunity to take part in group sessions and make a short piece of work within a supported environment.

The course aims to demystify Choreography. It is within the grasp of all who dance to think about dance making and learn basic principles of time, space, narrative and movement. Participants will be provided with space, mentors and given tasks to develop the toolkit of the choreographer.
